Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Loveland Invitational Sculpture Show.

Every year we rely heavily on the scores of volunteers who help out in a variety of areas and it usually takes about 300 dedicated, hard-working individuals to host this awesome event. Our volunteer positions range from assisting the artists with setting up their booths to taking tickets at the main gate. We want the volunteer experience to be a pleasurable one so we work hard to find positions that fit each volunteer's interests and skill levels.

Sculpture Show Tickets
Each volunteer is given free access to the Sculpture Show during non-working hours. You simply present your volunteer badge and are admitted for free. Each volunteer is able to attend both the Loveland Invitational as well as the Sculpture in the Park show at Benson Park for free of charge.

Attendance Policy
Once you have your volunteer assignment, we depend on you to work that shift. We do understand that emergencies do arrive, so we ask that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements to cover your shift. Please check in at the information booth for your assignment at least 15 minutes before your work shift begins.

Friday Night Patron Party
The Patron Party is a private reception for artists to preview their art to specific patrons. The artists purchase tickets and invite their guests to attend the event that is held on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Volunteers are invited to attend the event as well by purchasing a ticket for $3.00 per person.

Training
All volunteers are asked to attend a training session that is held the week prior to the Sculpture Show. You will be given your work assignments at that time.

T-Shirt
Each volunteer is given a blue Loveland Sculpture Show Invitational t-shirt to wear during volunteer hours. This shirt must be worn while you are working at the Sculpture Show. We ask that you do not make any alterations to the shirt while you are volunteering at the Invitational Sculpture Show.

Artist Check In

• Golf Cart Drivers transport artists from the parking lot to the show grounds
• Assist the artists with finding their booth spaces
• Distribute packets of information to each artist

Artist Dinner Party on Thursday evening-This is a unique opportunity! Help set up and clean up the Annual Artist Dinner Party that is held at Art Castings in Loveland. Anyone volunteering to help with this activity is also extended an invitation to join the dinner party.

• Noon to 3:00 PM-Set up the dinner area (set up tables and chairs)
• 8:00 to 10:00 PM-Tear down the dinner area (put away tables and chairs)

Friday Evening Patron Party Volunteer Hours: 5:00 to 8:00 PM
Saturday Hours: 8:00 to Noon or Noon to 4:00 PM or 4:00 to 7:30 PM
Sunday Hours: 8:00 AM to Noon or Noon to 4:00 PM

Information Center
Information Center volunteers greet the artists and guests.Ê Information Center volunteers hand out flyers, give directions, and offer assistance to guests and artists.

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is the primary source of funds for the Sculpture Group's art education program. Artists donate pieces of art which are displayed and sold in a silent auction. All proceeds are then donated to art departments in local area schools. Volunteers help set up the area as well as host the area to answer questions, etc.

Tent Monitor
This is the job where you get to have direct contact with the artists. Each tent is assigned 2-3 monitors who stroll through the aisles of the tents to provide relief to the artists and answer questions for the guests. Often times tent monitors sit in for artists while they take short breaks or run short errands for the artists (such as getting cool water or information flyers, etc)

Drivers
Volunteers drive golf carts to pick up guests at the distance parking lot and drive them to the entrance to the Sculpture Show.

General Business Positions
This area has several different options for volunteers to choose from:

• Ticket Sellers at the ticket sales booth
• Ticket takers at the main gate
• Merchandise Booth sales
• Credit Card machine operators
